I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SLOW FOOD USA in Jan 2016
Interview
~10min phone interview
Spoke with executive director, Richard McCarthy, he asked about my own experience and then explained the position and expected responsibilities at length. Finally, asked if I had any questions. Overall, a pretty painless experience.
I heard back in about a week.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SLOW FOOD USA (Brooklyn, NY) in June 2013
Interview
Started with a 15-20 minute phone interview with one of the Program Officers, during which I was asked about my interest in Slow Food USA and what relevant work experiences I had. Then I came into the office for an in-person interview with the Managing Director and Office Manager. I was asked questions about my resume, my prior internship experiences, and was given two different scenarios to respond to (internet goes down and team-building event ideas). Within two weeks or so, I was offered the job.
