I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SMA Worldwide (Kings Langley, England) in July 2016
Interview
Sat alone filling out a form for around 45 mins basically copying out my cv, 5 min talk where nothing was really discussed properly. Weird negative vibe, 'I'm very fussy', 'I'd rather hire no one than just anyone so I'll be interviewing a few people everyday and at the end I might hire no one' didn't shake hands which was odd. I got the impression they'd want a suited and booted man a car salesman type, rather than a woman. The job role when described didn't match online description and seemed to be a job that should pay more than a customer service salary- much more b2b sales more of a £20k+ than 16-18. Not enough time spent discussing myself or answering questions for the man to make any kind of accurate decision- there for 50 mins and only 5 spent in an interview situation. Interview skills just weren't there, questions weren't properly thought out and some comments seemed unprofessional. the form asked inappropriate questions which I don't think are strictly allowed under equality act law I.e. Do you have children, many questions seemed to be leaning on the personal side/intense. Told they'd get back to me or I should chase up- didn't chase up as I got a weird vibe.
