STAGE (India) Software Engineer interview questions

Process - I was approach by a recruiter. - Recruiter shared the assessment with me. - The assessment mentioned creating a my List feature (similar to watchlist) which allows user to save their favourite TV shows and movies. - Included bunch of requirements like feature should be optimised, integration tests to be written, having a CI/CD deployment pipeline. - The application created should be deployed. - All these requirement and you need to finish the assignment in 7-8 hours( on a single day). Feedback - After completing the assignment (giving my 7-8 hours), I emailed them all the details (github and deployed app link). - After 4 days I receive feedback from the recruiter saying it didn't went well. No description of what went wrong. Lesson Learned - After reading few blogs/posts on the internet, I found out how few companies post interviews for finding solution to their existing issues/problems. This is what I feel like might have happened in my case. - Will never do such online assessment in the future.
