There were four rounds of interviews with the recruiting team, where the candidate was asked about their technical proficiency, work ethics, expectations, etc. Following the interviews, the candidate was asked to provide professional references, and a decision was made.

First a prescreening call from HR then three different interviews with different tiers of employees. They range from scientist to director and multiple people at each interview. They won't necessarily be from your team but people you may work with.
