The process was in 4 stages: HR interview, virtual interview with marketing team, a marketing task, in person interview with marketing team and co-founder. It took about 3 weeks from start to finish. The interviews felt like an interrogation, not much like a conversation. There was a discrepancy between the difficulty of the marketing task and the complexity of the questions asked during the interviews; and the title and responsibilities for the role. Their "we don't care about titles" so abundantly shared during the interviews is their code for "we'll hire you on a junior salary with a junior title but give you senior responsibilities" so be sure to do your due diligence prior to making a decision, i.e. contact former team members to get their opinion. The marketing team members seemed nice but the overall feel was off; they were not able to really discuss growth opportunities, one team member spent 5 min trashing a former coworker, and the benefits shared were minimal.
