The initial conversations I had with the team were fine I had 5 separate, 30 minute virtual interviews over the course of a week. In my last interview with someone in HR, they briefly explained the next steps which was called an "assessment" which assesses quick interactions with role playing different scenarios and presentation skills. The next week the assessment was scheduled without being provided additional information. I finally received more information 2 days before my assessment via an email attachment which had a ~25 page business case of a mock company focused to field sales, branding, company/sales structure, revenue/sales information. It was this 25 page business case that I was supposed to assess and create a presentation on. With only 2 days lead time, an extremely detailed business case that was not relevant to my line of work at all, and no indication of the level of preparation needed, I decided to back out. Communication and coordination were severely lacking.
