I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sally Beauty (Elizabeth City, NC) in Nov 2015
Interview
Turned in application, meet with manager and was hired. Management mostly talked about herself and personal compatibility and what she needed me for, she didn't hesitate to dish on the problems she had wuth the "black" employees in the store and that my being there would help equal things out a bit and give her eyes when she wasn't there.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sally Beauty (Mentor, OH) in June 2020
Interview
Pretty average interview for the most part. The one weird thing was they ask you to pick an item from the stock room and pretend the interviewer is a customer and you're trying to upsell to them.

Question 1
What's been the most difficult part of past job experiences?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Sally Beauty (Watertown, SD) in Aug 2013
Interview
Quick, easy, laid back, informative, clear expectations of the job. Rather than interviewing with the store manager, I met with the district manager so I would get all the possible needed information about the position as well as advancing opportunities.
