      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Samsara (London, England)

      Interview

A recruiter from the company reached out to me on Linkedin and then gave me a call with questions about my current work and my salary expectations. A few days later received an email that they are moving forward with my application and that they will schedule a video interview with a person from the relevant department shortly. When the zoom interview was supposed to happen, the interviewer never showed up! After immediately following up with the recruiter, he only answered a few days later and said that they were experiencing some technical issues and we rescheduled the interview. On the second attempt - surprise! - the interviewer was nowhere to be found again. Shortly after, I had a call from both the recruiter and the interviewer to apologise and that they will email me to reschedule. I decided that I will give it one last try and emailed the recruiter my with availability, however he only replied more than a week later to apologise for the delay again and if I can give him a new date. I never bothered to contact them again. You can make your own conclusions about work ethic!

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Samsara (Atlanta, GA)

      Interview

I had a call with a recruiter who reached out to me on LinkedIn. She was awesome. Next there was a follow up call with a manger and the senior for the new team in Atlanta. After speaking with the first interviewer it was clear (even though I knew already) that this place was not very diverse and is struggling to increase diversity. I can see why after interviewing with this guy. He kept assuming that I did not know or understand things and I had to correct him several times. I work in operations! And what he was saying was NOT rocket science. The second interviewer I spoke with was okay. But she didn’t ask any questions she mainly just harped on the fact that I wouldn’t have to work as much as I do at my current job. I believe I was rejected as they weren’t offering my salary without the bonus! Not great hiring or interview practices here. I would advise non white people to steer clear. They can’t hire or keep diversity for a reason! What a waste of my time
