I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Samsara
Interview
Honestly run far away ..first of all let me say the company itself seems legitimate and they have a great product.. that being said the way they operate is very cult like. First of all the recruiter told me they only hire 5 percent of people they interview. They preach this amazing culture and take pride saying their interview process is difficult. First round with the hiring manager asking about your background and if you would be a good fit. Next step is a 4 person panel interview. They ask for a two hour block where they ask behavioral interview questions and dig deeply into your background. The whole vibe they give is they are too good for anybody and you have to be lucky to work there. Killed the interviews and got positive feedback each round, to be honest I thought I was over qualified and felt very good about an offer. Waited two days for the recruiter to tell me they were going to pass. No feedback as to why or what changed from the feedback they gave me during the interviews. They had me waste my time carving out 2 hours for their panel interviews , and provided me positive feedback just to say no when I wasn’t face to face. The whole vibe is weird and the interview process is overkill and a complete waste
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you lost a deal and why ? What did you mean from it ? How do you handle pressure situations? Why samsara ?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Samsara (London, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
Interviews with recruitment, hiring manager and department director. Then a role play.
The interview process was quite insightful. They want you to bring some quite specific skills over with you around qualification and discovery
I applied online. I interviewed at Samsara in Dec 2025
Interview
This was the worst interview experience I’ve ever had. After being pushed quickly through 5 rounds of interviews and nothing but positive feedback I was told they would have a decision in one week I had a start date the month after. They completely ghosted me for more than a month then I got an an automated rejection email. The recruiter would text and call me to check in during the process and never heard from her after that. The sales managers that interviewed me seemed like very mediocre sales people that have never managed anyone and had no real insight into the position.
