Strange process. I had a recruiter screen, a technical call with an engineering manager, and then a technical test.
The engineering manager who attended the meeting was not the one I had been told I would meet, and they were surprised when I mentioned this. They had a rapid-fire set of very specific security focused questions.
The next step involved arranging a time to SSH into their interview VM and do a python coding test. I had to provide my credentials a number of times, as the recruiter who requested my details initially had then set an out of office for several weeks after my reply ~ 30 minutes later.
The technical test involved sorting data with python and querying a dynamodb instance. They'd left their assessor's instructions (how to run terraform to provision the interview environment, how to run the test script to grade the assignment) on the VM along side the candidate instructions. Not a big deal, but indicative of a broader lack of polish in their process.
They got back to me shortly after to indicate that I wouldn't be proceeding.
