I had a very long and atypical interview process with Samsara. I couldn't accept the offer the first time due to immigration reasons, and both the Recruiter and Hiring Manager were all the time very respectful and patient about my decision. My intention to join Samsara has been true since the beginning, and I'm thankful that I was still considered for the position even one year after it was initially offered to me. I had the opportunity to meet the team virtually and in person a couple of times before I joined. One of the parts I enjoyed the most was the Design Challenge. I had to do real engineering work for almost a day, but it was a great opportunity to feel the kind of problems that the team was dealing with. The behavioral questions were new to me, but I'm glad that the recruiter gave me a little coaching on the STAR process before I met with the team for the first time. One of the most complete and rich interview experiences I had!
