It took about 2 months from submitting the application to receiving an offer. I spoke to 7 different people and the majority of the conversations were about behavioral topics and fit. While the entire process was a bit lengthy it was a pleasure to talk to all of the interviewers. It gave me plenty of opportunities to understand the company, the team, and everything one should know in order to decide if one would like to pursue an opportunity or not. The recruiter was always available to speak with me when I had questions or concerns.

Very lengthy, taking nearly 2 months. I enjoyed conversations with recruiter and hiring manager, felt as if I was the perfect fit! Then came the coding interview which felt odd for a security role with python not even menthoned. The interviewer was very off putting, acted as if he didnt enjoy his current role, kept giving me assistance when i wasnt asking for it. I was prepared to screenshare but they didnt have me do that, instead I researched the problem and worked through the question. Felt I did a great job and couldve finished the rest if I had more time. They only allocated 40 mins for the 4 part coding question, and said no AI but google was allowed. Without proper screensharing, and people desperate for jobs, other candidates for sure used AI, but i did not and didnt get the job offer because of it. I reached out for feedback but all they could say was I didnt score high enough. I went back to leave a survey internally, and the link had expired, which is what brought me here. The coding test should have been take home or 2 hours long, they shouldve screenshared and or allowed me to use a different IDE as coderpad wasnt the best and caused me time fixing typos and other issues a good IDE would fix. Im sad i didnt get the proper oppurtunity to showcase my skills.
