The interview was definitely fairly difficult. I'd give it an 8.5-10/10 difficulty. It was a group interview, and only one other guy showed up, so we were basically competing for a spot. They sat us down in a room and told us not to speak to eachother handed us a pen and said to write an essay in 30 minutes about 3 questions, Question 1 was what is vivd abuse and provide examples, the second question was who can the SDRC serve and who can they not provide services to, The final and last question was what are your strenghts as a social worker and what do you need to improve upon? Overall, this was the easy part. Lastly, they took us into a room and grilled us for about an hour in front of a pannel of three senior members of the company asking us questions like what is HIPPA and general quesitons about your expereince in social work like "when was a time you solved a conflict" and "how can you stay on top of your work and stay organized" They also mentioned our responses were being graded on a scale and at the end we would have a final score which would deterime if we would contened for a spot at the company. Overall, group interviews were not enjoyable, especially competing with a guy twice my age who had significantly more experience; it just didn't seem fair. This company appears to be a great place to work, but you must be extremely prepared for this interview. I did not end up getting the job and found out about it five days later in the mail, stating that other candidates were a better fit. It was pretty crushing.
