1.) Very lengthy interview process I had to do 3 interviews in total (Recruiters, HR, then IT) 2.) Most annoying process was the application. I had so many random question's and quizzes unrelated to the work. It was honestly frustrating. I spent 1 hour+ just filling everything out. 3. After getting the interview process out of the way, and on the final stage with the 2 IT techs. Everything went swell during the interview process. I thought this was a done deal and I could get back into the Market of working. I was disappointed to hear from my recruiter that they didn't want to move forward. I was confused! Everything went so well, I thought I was everything they had described they were looking for. The recruiter told me what the issue was. I was denied the position because of a small interest in Cyber security. They were quote "afraid my future goals wouldn't align with the company" They wanted to know more about me and I told them?? How is having a Helpdesk technician interested in Cyber sec, and issue. Also, I'm 10 minutes of a drive to the office(with rush-hour traffic) .(You wanted someone on call, and you had a good opportunity) 3 years of MSP experience, basically everything they're looking for and willing to start today. But no. That's fine, I see the job listing is still active after nearly a month of not hearing back. Good luck on your hunt to find a better technician who's that close and willing to be on call during the weekends.
