I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Santander (Miami, FL) in Feb 2022
Interview
Recruited reached out on LinkedIn based on experience and skills for the role.
After a conversation with the HR, it was decided to schedule a first interview with the Recruiting Manager.
Following this first interview, two more interviews were scheduled - a Tech Panel (not too technical, very high level for the role - 2 interviewers in the same video conference call) and a more traditional interview to test the "Fit" for the role.
Interviews overall went great, with a great connection with all of the interviewers.
No feedback was shared within a month after the interviews; follow-up e-mail sent at that time with no response, additional follow-up e-mail sent a month later - reply with an automated reply indicating the recruiter was no longer with the company.
A few months later, I was contacted via LinkedIn by an external recruiter, indicating that the position was still open. Decided to reach out to the interview panel to get some feedback on what could have gone wrong with the interviews and take this feedback into account for next interviews. Received as an answer that the panel would not provide direct candidate feedback and invited me to contact the recruiter.
6 months later, position is still open and no feedback was ever shared.
