I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sapiens (Bengaluru) in Oct 2019
Interview
HR told it is a scheduled interview and when I reached venue to find out it is Walk In interview and it takes 7 hr for the whole process. 1st Round was Online Test followed by Coding Test. Then I need to wait 4 hrs for F2F round where all interview seems to be tired after having lunch and not at all interested in taking interview. Not even listening to the answers for the question.
After 1 hr 15 minutes of wasting time I was told to leave for the day.
Advice to HR, please respect interviewee time.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sapiens (Pune) in June 2025
Interview
First, there was an initial technical screening which was about 30 minutes. It covered the basics of Java, Spring Boot, React, and some SQL queries. Pretty straightforward stuff to make sure I had the fundamentals down.
The second round was the main technical deep-dive, which lasted about an hour. This one was more intense. We started with a live coding problem—it was an array-based question, similar to something you'd find on LeetCode. After that, we spent a lot of time discussing my ERP system project. They really dug into the architecture, asking why I chose certain technologies and how I handled security with JWT.
The final round was a managerial/HR round. This was more about my background, my approach to teamwork, and why I was interested in their company specifically. It was a good mix of behavioral questions and discussing my career goals.

Question 1
The one question that really stood out was when the interviewer asked me to "Explain the complete end-to-end flow of what happens when a user clicks a 'Save' button on a form in your React application."
It wasn't just a simple question; he wanted me to trace the entire journey of the request, from the frontend all the way to the database and back.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked about fullstack development. Frontend and BAckend separately.
I had an HR call where they asked about my salary expectations for a position requiring three years of experience. After I shared my expectations, they said it was too high and mentioned their budget was 20K ILS per month.
On one hand, I appreciate their transparency—it saves time for both sides. But on the other hand, the offer is below market value for this level of experience.
Since it wasn’t a good fit, we didn’t continue the process.
