I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Saturn (NY) in June 2024
Interview
First round: Standard recruiter call. Be prepared for 7 more rounds after that (yes, that's right. You will meet with 20% of their company).
Second round: I was told directly by the recruiter that it would be a behavioral interview with the VP of Growth. It was not. It was a case study asking me to build out their growth strategy for a new product. I passed this portion and moved on to meet with the Product Managers. They were both great, and the questions were behavioral-based.
Next round: I was asked to meet with an executive. I confirmed the interview and received a calendar hold via an automated scheduling system. The executive never showed up. When I emailed the recruiter after waiting on the Zoom meeting for 10 minutes, he proceeded to say that I "no-showed" the interview. This had already been rescheduled twice, so I assume the times got mixed up in their scheduling system. We rescheduled again, chalking it up to a technical error. I made it through that round.
Next: I was to speak with another Co-Founder. He had to reschedule twice. During the final reschedule, he texted me directly, asking if we could "keep the time loose" for Friday and I should be expected to wait around all day to hear from him to confirm a time. Again, I am flexible and was willing to do this, assuming I would receive at least a few hours' notice. Apparently the expectation was that I sit at my desk waiting for his text to come through and be ready within a 10-minute turnaround to meet with him.... When he finally texted requesting we meet in 10 mins, I was in a meeting and stated I'd be ready within 45 mins. Never received a text back. I followed up with the recruiter directly and we confirmed a time for Monday instead. Monday comes - and I receive a canned rejection email 30 MINUTES before my final interview. I am not usually one to write reviews, but WOW. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism, poor business acumen, or lack of empathy for candidates. I can only imagine this is how they do business across most of their workstreams. Bullet dodged! Bless the poor soul who accepted this job.

Question 1
First round: Standard recruiter call. Be prepared for 7 more rounds after that (yes, that's right. You will meet with 20% of their company).
Standard interview process.
1. Recruiter Screen
2. Tech Screen - Design a basic class like Event Manager to manage calendar events
3. Onsite
a. Coding - A concurrency problem
b. SD - Design chat system
c. HM (didn't go this far)
I interviewed for the experience. I think they don't care much about their candidates. During the interview process, I tried asking about the company culture but there wasn't any honesty, just standard responses.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Saturn (NY) (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2022
Interview
Had a great interview process. It was so great to meet the different members and really hear how the hiring process is going. The interviews were scheduled quickly. The members always showed up on time. I felt the interviews were very well structured.
