I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at SavATree (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2020
Interview
Informal yet informative. These interviews are for a large company but the growth model is through acquisition so you are essentially interviewing for a small/medium operation that was bought by Savatree. This means the feel is of a mom and pop job under the banner of a large business.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at SavATree
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter. They reached out to me about a branch manager position. After I showed interest, I had a phone call about a week later. A week after that, I had another. These were with HR and District Managers. Then I didn't hear back for 2-3 weeks. They brought me in to meet the District Manager at the local office. It seemed to go well. All the questions in these interviews were you average open ended questions.
After the in person interview, I didn't hear anything for a month. I attempted contact by email, telephone, and eventually the recruiter. It was ridiculous. No one would get back to me. After a month, I eventually got a call from the recruiter and was told they went internal. It took over 6 weeks for them to choose an internal candidate. It was all ridiculous.

Question 1
The main thing they asked was "Do you understand this is a dangerous job?" They were very open in mentioning that cutting down trees is dangerous.

Interview
Interview was via zoom. Was somewhat casual and overall pleasant. Was told I would get an update but have not heard back in over a month and a half. Disappointed in the professionalism.
