First I had an interview in person with the Chief of People for Schibsted international, in Barcelona. She was great, very professional, we had a really interesting conversation and the company culture seemed a good one, based on performance, and as she described, very family like. I passed on to the next stage which was interviewing with the person who was going to be leading this role. The interview was held in their offices for Schibsted Spain in Sant Cugat. I didn't feel comfortable during the interview but did my best as sometimes interviews can be difficult.
The interviewer said we ran out of time, and that she would organize a second interview. I didn't have the chance to ask any questions and she dedicated the whole hour to ask me about my personal background, never asking anything about my performance, previous experience or learnings from previous jobs. It felt more like a biographical check, not a professional check. Really uncomfortable and not very professional.
I was never called, nor emailed. So I had to assume I was no longer in the process.
