      Marketing Coordinator Interview

      21 Apr 2012
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Scholastic (New York, NY) in Aug 2010

      Interview

Very straightforward. I came in to interview, spoke with three people I would be working with for about 30-45 minutes each, and then heard a few weeks later that I got the job. Seemed a bit disorganized and there was some confusion with my paperwork with HR, but it was a laid back work environment and overall positive experience.

      Marketing Coordinator Interview

      30 July 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scholastic (New York, NY)

      Interview

Basic questions, behavioral and case study was done. Chatted for a bit and was an OK process with HR and hiring manager. Took about 2 weeks from start to finish but they really tried to low ball me on the offer.

      Marketing Coordinator Interview

      15 Jan 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Danbury, CT
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I interviewed at Scholastic (Danbury, CT)

      Interview

After applying I got an e-mail and set up a phone interview. I ended up calling the recruiter myself because she still had not called me 15 minutes after the schedule time. She invited me for an in person interview in CT. After meeting the marketing director she told me I would have to come back for another interview because the other lady wasn’t in even though I drove over an hour for this one. Idk why they couldn’t book it together. After trying to get in touch with the recruiter everyone went completely incognito until a month later I get an e-mail from the recruiter saying they‘ve moved forward with another candidate, yeah no kidding.
