Short and sweet with not a lot of technical questions. They were looking for someone who could win succesful government programs. Some questions were interesting. Sounded like they had some cool tech
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Scientific Systems Company
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter and they brought me in for an interview. I showed up and the staff was unprofessional and burnt out. It was as if I stepped back into a time machine. The company was stuck in the early 90's. I almost walked out when I showed up. The company completely lacks work/life balance and has sub par benefits and pay. They had me fill out a paper resume upon my arrival. They already had my resume. Terrible Experience. Offer was declined.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Scientific Systems Company (Woburn, MA) in July 2010
Interview
Hiring is meticulous and consequently slow. References are interviewed for their impressions of the candidate. Candidates are asked to submit samples of their writing and are required to make a presentation to the company's subject matter experts and management. Referrals from current employees are a big plus.
