I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON) in June 2016
Interview
Interviewed with a two person panel. One person was writing down my answers while one person asked the questions. Heavily focused on situations with unhappy customers/stressful situations. Interviewers were not happy with broad answers. Wanted very specific situations "what did you say to customer.." Did not ask about previous experience. No mention of hours or salary when explaining the job. Felt like they focused on negative aspects of customer service e.g angry customers/stressful situations. Made the job sound unpleasant.
