I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON) in July 2012
Interview
All Analyst positions in the International QAT Department are offered via Third Party hiring companies. Scotiabank utilizes these companies to offer contracts to those seeking the Analyst position. To land one of the positions it's best to get the foot in the door via these companies (ie. Manpower, T&J Consulting). Submit a resume to these companies to get the initial interview.
Was interviewed by the Manager and Sr. Analyst. They gave an offer to me about a week later.

Question 1
A situational question to see what my approach to problem solving was based on a problem they had before.
Reached out to by HR after 1 week and a team member after applying online after 1.5 weeks. Was given less than a working day of notice for the first-round online interview. During the call, the questions felt unstructured. They repeatedly pressed me on why I wanted the role, but never actually explained what the role fully entailed. Communication stopped immediately after the call—no feedback, no update.
two rounds of interview, one hirevue and one in person and one group coffee chat, friendly process in general, very interesting to learn about the team. good experience over all, thumbs up
