I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Scottish Natural Heritage in July 2024
Interview
Quick and easy application and interview process, via CV + cover letter. The application specified what questions need to be answered in the cover letter and how (STAR method). They also provided interview questions in advance which were specific to the role (copied below). In addition to those questions, they had further questions that were more about working style, problem-solving and more (7-8 questions in total). I liked that I was provided with questions in advance, however, I don't understand how they did not provide the full list. I think that since they are doing this to welcome people on the spectrum (to have a level playing field, let's say) they should have been more transparent in the process. The whole process from application to feedback was smooth and quick, and they provided me with personalized feedback on the interview (so far this is the only company that has done this), so it's still an overall okay experience. Total interview time was 45-50 minutes, did not leave much time for candidate's questions.
