The interview process is very informal, but it differs from Council to Council. Some are run as round robin and some are one on ones. So would say it all depends on the current leadership and the modal they choose.

The hiring manager was unaware of a scholarship fund on his own portion of the council website. It was named after a deceased camp ranger whom I knew personally. He had no idea what I was talking about. Also, I was ghosted after the initial interview. This should never happen in an organization where you can literally run into that same unprofessional person at a training conference or an all-hands someday. So disrespectful.
