I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Scouting America (Los Angeles, CA) in June 2013
Interview
It was a very standard interview, the questions were asked about background, retail history, and how those background details would pertain to being a sales associate. The manager also asked about my availability and how many hours I'd like to work per week. After the interview, there was quite a bit of paperwork and everything else went very smoothly.
