I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sears (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2016
Interview
I applied through a job search website and received a phone call a few weeks later calling me in for an interview the next day. It was a group interview with three other people and we were asked the same questions by the managers. The interview was very straightforward and in the end, we even had to "sell" a product to the managers. Afterwards, we had to fill out forms regarding our information and bring in 2 pieces of ID later that day to be photocopied. The managers said they would only contact us if interested by the next week. I didn't get a call until 2.5 weeks later informing me I had received the position.
Easy interview, they asked basic soft skill questions and put an emphasis on selling credit cards. Originally only a seasonal position, but I did well enough that they hired me full time. There is a high turn over rate though.
Interview was extremely easy. Looking for someone for the holidays for a temporary position but was hired on due to high credit card sales. Interviewer asked basic situational questions and some behavioral questions as well.
Was asked to arrive at a given time. There were 10+ other people scheduled for that time. I was 2nd in line, so I stayed, otherwise I wouldn't have wasted my time.
