The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Securonix (New York, NY)
Interview
They invited me for an interview for security analyst, once I got there, they said I was interviewing for a project management position. Prior to the interview, I had three phone interviews where they were VERY aware of my lack of a masters degree, but were aware of my many certifications. During the interview, they brought up the fact that I did not have a masters degree and because of this reason I must also lack critical thinking skills. I have never been so humiliated in my life. I would not recommend anyone to work in this hostile environment.
Thank you for taking time to provide feedback. Our Hiring Managers are always evaluating a potential candidate for a role in Securonix and not just for the role the candidate applied to, Oftentimes, candidates have been found suitable for other roles owing to the additional skills each candidate brings in, apart from the required skills. We are sorry you did not have a good interview experience. And we are working closely with our hiring managers, coaching them actively to be able to interview better and provide a positive experience to the candidate.
