I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Segment
Interview
The process starts with a recruiter phone screen, and then a call with the hiring manager if you make it through. I believe the third step was demonstrating your abilities with a mock discovery call, but I didn't make it.
I thought everyone I spoke with was nice but what happened to me in the second interview proved they're somewhat scattered. I received a calendar invite that had a Google Hangouts link on it but it didn't look like the hiring manager was on the invite so I followed up. She confirmed this was a Google Hangouts meeting, not a phone call. The recruiter told me not to worry. I showed up to the call and no one hopped on the line, so I waited.
Turns out 7 minutes into our scheduled time, the hiring manager called my cell seemingly believing that we're to talk on the phone. I had my cell off in the other room so as to not distract me.
We eventually connected on the Google Hangouts, and I could tell she was scattered because of this. She also had to get off the call early, so I felt like my time was shorted and I didn't get the full chance to prove myself.
I applied online. I interviewed at Segment (Dublin, Dublin)

Question 1
What are points you think went well and not so well during the mock call
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Segment (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2022
Interview
The initial recruiter was very nice and knowledgeable. After that was done was set up with a hiring manager. The interview process felt a bit bizarre like I was getting psychoanalyzed and my mind picked. Was not a normal accustomed sales interview. In the end, I asked the interviewer if she had any hesitations and she said "I don't think you understand the why about this company." I reiterated exclaiming my thoughts but she seemed unresponsive to my responses.
If not knowing the "why" about a company as an outsider looking in is the reasoning for not getting a job, I'm glad they declined to go further.
