I applied online. I interviewed at Serenity Healthcare (Austin, TX)
Interview
Recruiter asked some strange questions about my background that I felt were irrelevant. He noticed I was taken back and the interview was cut short after that. Didn’t get offer but wouldn’t take it if I did especially after reading all reviews about this company.

Interview
Strangest interview I've ever had. The recruiter interview went well, but the second interview with the CEO was where it became so odd and disturbing. I declined the offer to continue to the final round of interviews and would not recommend this company to anyone. The interviewer's camera was off the entire time so they could see you, but you couldn't see them. The tone was abrasive and condescending. The interviewer went over the hour interview for a total of 1.5 hrs, mostly because he was going on a rant about abortions, but claiming that he was neutral. I was not asked a single clinical question, but rather questions about my personal views. The interviewer spent too much time challenging my core beliefs and strongly suggested he'd want me to persuade patients to make decisions the company wants, even if they conflict with the patients' core beliefs. The process made me realize they do not want people who think for themselves; they want robots. I was also told you'd be seeing up to 25+ patients a day.

Question 1
How would you feel if someone removed the fetus from your cats? (Yes, this was a real question I was asked during my second interview)

Interview
Strangest interview ever!!!! Run for the hills from this company!!!! Every interview was through Teams, not once did I interview with a medical professional, 2nd interview was with the CEO of the company who asked rally bizarre questions about my personal beliefs under the guise of “not wanting and activist working the company.” 3rd interview was with some HR person who has no medical background, but I was asked to do a mock intake, but it seemed like they were only interested in hearing my sales pitch for TMS. They refused to turn on their cameras during the interview so you’re talking to a blank screen. And again, no one seemed to care about my medical knowledge or skills. Seemed like they were looking for a sales person to convince patients to get TMS and Ketamine because that’s the money maker. So many red flags!!! And the contract was abismal and very one sided! Money was good but they lock you in for 3 years with a pay or stay clause and they listed a lot of ways they can terminate you for underperforming. Also expected to see 25 patients in 13 hour shifts with no admin time. And have your notes done in 3 days or you will be terminated. Also they reserve the right to terminate you if you undercharge on your billing codes. Work here if you want to be a cash cow robot forcing people into TMS.
