      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Service Experts (Salt Lake City, UT) in Jan 2022

      Interview

The situation was short, easy, and required minimal interviews. There were a total of 3 interviews, first with a recruiter, second with a regional sales manager, and third with the general manager and sales manager.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Service Experts (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2022

      Interview

Wait for it… Had 3 interviews, in order of recruiter, regional manager, then sales manager for the branch applied to. All went well imo took an hour a piece everyone seemed kind and knowledgeable, very interested- as was I. At the end of every interview I asked “well, after having met and spoke for some time do you believe I would be a good fit and most importantly do you think I would be successful in the sales role based on our interaction today” they were very positive in their answers and -yes I was told I was and would be. There was no indication that anything other than a job was waiting at the end of this process. And… I was right. But… I was offered a technician position which was not what I applied for, nor was it mentioned in any few seconds of the few hours I spent interviewing. You wouldn’t think you would have to clarify the position for which you applied but believe me I made very clear throughout and I believed it was understood that this interview was definitely for a sales position, hence the application. I didn’t randomly send a company an application for a job they didn’t makes seem available. I responded to an ad. The problem with the whole situation is, I might’ve taken the service role had it been mentioned at some point or had there been some direction towards the sales position but there wasn’t so I turned it down- I couldn’t even get a reason for the change of heart, none. Felt alot like a bait and switch -without any reason provided, even more so since one was requested. Best advice is read the reviews throughout the country seems like a brand decision and use a browser other than google to search reviews every once in a while starkly different picture will be painted. If a company uses low brow sales tactics on potential employees imagine what they are capable of with a customer or… what they expect you to do once hired.
