I want to share a disappointing experience I had with a recruiter from ServiceNow, Javier Palafox, to highlight how much candidate communication and basic respect matter; especially in today’s competitive job market. After receiving an invitation for a phone screen, I rearranged my schedule multiple times at his request.( three reschedules in a single week.) Each time, I made space in the middle of my workday, only to be met with last-minute cancellations or no-shows. The call finally happened, and I was told I’d move to the next round. I followed up with my availability promptly and… silence. No update, no closure. This experience left me feeling like I was constantly coddling a grown man’s chaotic calendar. I was overcommunicating, accommodating, and still being left on read. It’s hard enough to get your foot in the door these days. Wasting a qualified candidate’s time like this is not just inconsiderate, it reflects poorly on the company’s values and recruiting culture. What’s most ironic is that ServiceNow is a company built on streamlining workflows and improving organizational efficiency — yet this process showed me the opposite: a lack of follow-through, unreliable communication, and frankly, poor work ethic. I’m sure there are great people at ServiceNow, but this kind of experience speaks volumes about how casually some talent reps treat candidate time and effort.

The onboarding process was excellent. The team provided support at every step, making it smooth and easy to get settled. Their guidance was thorough and helpful throughout. However you need to demonstrate skill on presentation and technical aspects of the plaftorm.

Good interview process over 3 rounds. Friendly and knowledgable team, able to answer all questions with a positive attitude. You can see they genuinely are proud of the company they work at.
