      Solutions Consultant Interview

      19 June 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ServiceNow in Jan 2020

      Interview

A few phone interviews, then a scheduled in-person product demonstration. ServiceNow provides a rather involved scenario and expects the interviewee to pitch and demo a ServiceNow solution to a team of evaluators. Be very, very skeptical of committing much time to their process. I was warned of this going in but didn't pay much heed - at any point, they are notorious for ghosting applicants. Apparently their platform isn't capable of automated "thanks but no thanks" emails like most professional orgs. The only way to approach them is to get a contingent offer before you commit any time to preparing for their demo process. This is absolutely a practice in place, and I would argue that if you don't have the contingent offer, they aren't serious about considering you, so walk away.

      No offer
      Neutral experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ServiceNow

      Interview

Typically there are four rounds of interviews - 1st Recruiter, 2nd Hiring Manager, 3rd Team you'd be working with, 4th Use Case Presentation. However, they added one more round of interviews for me. The interview process and communication is lengthy and there's a bit of a communication break down due to coordination with multiple parties. Questions weren't difficult and the panelist were professional, knowledgeable, and clear on what expectations for the role were.

      Solution Consultant Interview

      1 Dec 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at ServiceNow in Aug 2024

      Interview

Went through a series of 3 interviews over a 4-month period with excellent feedback from each interviewer, only to be completely ghosted after my 3rd interview. Recruiter was completely unresponsive when I followed up via email, and again after my internal referral requested an update on my behalf. I only learned that I did not advance after logging into the job platform following an email requesting "Please share feedback on your recent ServiceNow application experience", a survey emailed to me weeks after interviewing. The survey unfortunately, only offered a Likert rating scale, and no room for actual feedback. When I logged back into the platform, I noted that my status was changed from "Interviewing" to "Archived". Never received any other communication after 3 interviews, which I'm sure includes a small pool of candidates. Incredibly disappointing and unprofessional to say the least.
