I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ServiceNow (San Diego, CA) in Nov 2023
Interview
Just got contacted by the HR after talking at the Career Fair at my uni, UCSD. After that we set up a zoom and had the first round of behavioral. Then asked me my interests and location preferences. Gave a list of teams that I would be interested in and told me to choose 3 teams to interview with at the same time. The first team is priority and the manager of that specific team will join while 2 other engineers from the other teams will join. After choosing my 3 teams with my first choice being one. Scheduled an interview with the 3 engineers and had 1 hour technical interview. They go over your resume pretty detailed for the first 20 minutes. After that, they give you one coding question to answer for 30 minutes and asks you more technical questions, just about topics of OOP and Testing. Leaving a couple minutes at the end for you to ask them questions. There are only 2 rounds. I just did the final interview on Wednesday. HR said I would know same day if I got chosen, but when looking online, other people didn't hear back the same day either. At the end of the interview, the engineers said that they need to write their reports. Im guessing they need to write feedback and give a score based off the candidate. Hope to get to work here. Would be a dream come true honestly. I wrote, didn't get the offer but im writing a review before I hear back and before enough time has passed to know if I got rejected. Hopefully shared a good insight on how the process went for others.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Behavioral for first round, typical questions about what you would do in situations and how you would handle them. technical: this varies because the manager chose the question himself, he said "i chose this question, it's the easiest question and I just care to know if you can code". I was asked FizzBuzz.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ServiceNow

The interviewers were very welcoming and easy to talk to. The conversations felt relaxed but still focused on relevant technical and behavioral topics. Overall, it was a positive and supportive interview experience.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ServiceNow (San Diego, CA)

Typical Behavioral questions. Just make sure to use the STAR method
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ServiceNow (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2024
Interview
I had 3 30 minute interviews back to back with the first one being with a SWE which was mostly behavioral and a high level technical question (mine was how would ServiceNow get specifically the name and emails from a third party provider using their API). The second interview was the same, more behavioral questions so be sure to use the STAR format and have a good understanding of yourself and your resume. The third was a deep dive into my resume and the technologies I used in each prior internship or project, how I optimized things, any setbacks, etc. More of a technical behavioral interview geared towards your resume. At the end of each interview there was around 5 minutes to ask questions.
