      Care Advocate Interview

      18 July 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Seven Starling in June 2025

      Interview

The team is very nice and passionate about the mission. I was invited to 3 interviews. First was a nice conversation about skills and learning about my interests in the role. Second was a 10 minute skills assessment which seemed odd but doable. I’ve done skills assessments before but typically I’ve been provided with the assignment the day before to prep. The “last” interview was a meeting with someone in leadership to discuss interests and culture fit. Sometimes after interviews it would be 1-2 weeks before you’d hear anything back. After the final interview I did not hear anything back for a few weeks. I emailed to inquire if they hired someone else, and was told they are still working through the process. After another few weeks I was invited to an additional interview. I declined the invite. They also mentioned still needing to forecast for the role. This process was very frustrating and not respectful of my time. I understand startups having worked with them for 5 years now, but this process seemed incredibly disorganized. It seemed like they were unsure of the role responsibilities and when they’d want someone to start the role, and these details need to be ironed out before getting the hopes of candidates up. The interview process confusion made me weary about pursuing this any further.
