Interview
I contacted the Talent Acquisition team following a post I saw from an ex colleague now working at the company on LinkedIn. Faye, the talent acquisition manager dealing with my application setup an initial interview session with the hiring manager for the role I was interested in. Following this initial 30 minute interview, I was given a design challenge and a follow up interview was scheduled with 4 other members of the team in different positions at the company. These were in 30minute meetings over 2 hours. Following this I was offered a position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions surrounding relevant experience in my previous role, motivations for moving, and rationale for thinking process in the design challenge.
Initial screening zoom call with HR to discuss employment history and cultural fit followed by an in person technical interview with a director and SVP to discuss skillset and experience
Not so great, as the recruitment specialist was in a hurry and were not happy to ask my questions. As example of that, how the company will measure sucess on my first 6 months?

Interview
Overall a little disjointed. Having to in essence create detailed designs outlining a full design in detail. Felt like the process had people already lined up for the job. 4x 30 minute interviews with people who in some cases didn’t introduce themselves. Open comments of “chaos” and “manic” were used and this was reflected in their process. Switched off towards the end as felt it was switched off over the screen from the start. Someone will fit, but it will someone who doesn’t mind an unorganised system.
