I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ShiftLeft (Santa Clarita, CA) in Dec 2020
Interview
5-6 interviews with leadership from Product, Sales, and Engineering. Each looking for their own thing like technical acumen, soft skills, market awareness. There was a take home to use the tool (SaaS) and share back what your saw and thought about using it.
Contacted via LinkedIn. Had 6 interviews lined up and the last two were suddenly canceled with no email or notice. The whole process felt disorganized and unprofessional. Interviewed with several employees who were unaware with current interview process. One interviewer asked questions, reading off a prompt word for word without listening to the answers. If this sheds any light on the company itself, then I would highly caution working at ShiftLeft.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at ShiftLeft (Santa Clara, CA) in June 2019
Interview
Applied to recruiter, the company contacted me and all interview took 3 days. There were multiple stage interviews covering various areas. Company internal interview process is blazing fast. I am not sure whether it is because the position requires very specific knowledge.
