Do not trust ShipBob's recruitment at all! I applied for the data analyst role and performed well on the technical assessment as well the technical and logical elements of the onsite interview. I was told they felt I was a better cultural fit for the Operations Analyst position so I proceeded to have a phone call with the Senior VP for logistics as well as an onsite at their fulfillment center. After this second onsite, I had a call with the senior recruiter who informed me that the salary minimum I had previously been asked about by her (3 separate times) was too high. We agreed to discuss again a few days later. They came back with an offer the following week that was close enough for me to accept later that day. Through text/phone calls with the junior recruiter, I had a start date lined up and was waiting to receive a written contract. I was then told, 6 days after accepting a verbal offer, that they are putting the position on hold for the time being. What kind of company extends an offer and then decides they don't want to hire for that position? Shipbob! I do not recommend wasting the time or energy going through their recruitment process.
