The manager was very easy and outgoing. He explained everything you would be basically doing and it was a very non stressful experience. I would definitely recommend you to do it if you’re looking for a quick job
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shipley Do-Nuts (Katy, TX) in Mar 2025
Interview
I was contacted by email and set up a phone interview with the recruiter. Interview went well so they scheduled me for an in-person interview with the field training manager. Interview went really well in my opinion and then was ghosted afterwards. Sent the normal thank you emails and then followed up after one week and nothing. Spent an hour on the first interview over the phone, drove an hour through Houston traffic for the second interview and then ghosted. Not even a “we’ve decided to move forward with someone else”. This is totally disrespectful to potential employees. We put our time, energy, and hope into these interviews. It’s perfectly ok that they didn’t want to hire me but maybe just give rejected potential employees a heads up rather than let them hang on to hope for a few weeks. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a corporate job to avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be treated unprofessionally. When you ghost companies they don’t hire you but companies take full advantage of the fact that if they ghost you there’s nothing you can do about it.

Question 1
What are some of the methods you use to train employees.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Shipley Do-Nuts (Houston, TX) in Apr 2024
Interview
Phone Screen with HR, then my supervisor, then video with Senior Executive/Ops/Marketing/President which happened very quickly then radio silence. I thought the interviews were engaging and interesting, wrote follow up thank you emails. Was told I was perfect for the job and had just the skill set. Then silence. I had to follow up only to be told - hang on - we are almost there - type response. Then one delay after another. Then after 6 weeks - which of course, I was no longer interested, they changed the role requirements so that I would not be the right fit for something not job qualifications related. So, I told them a lie to meet that requirement and called their bluff. Of course, again - nothing. I am so angry I wasted my time but more importantly that they wasted it and likely countless others.
It is a blessing in disguise because they likely do this behavior in other areas of the business and my standards are higher than that. Beware of them. Old brand. Older business behavior.
