I applied, and was immediately contacted by HR to discuss the position, pay, schedule and hours. This went fine so they scheduled me to come in person to interview. So about a week later I leave my current job early to drive cross town to interview. I get there early, but my interview starts late. I do not like tardiness. It set a bad impression already. When I start the interview, they pop a test which is well over 20 pages on me. The test isn't terribly difficult, but they're asking me to dictate steps on how to do certain computer processes, which is very difficult when you don't have a computer in front of you. After I finish this, I interview with the hiring manager. Standard questions for the most part. I thought I did pretty good. But I find out she hasn't seen the test that they made me complete for the job. And since they were late starting the interview, she abruptly ends the interview in order to catch the train. This is a part time job. It was like either she wasn't interested at all. I asked her for her business card prior to leaving and she didn't have that either. I've worked on healthcare for many years and currently do now. But this was one of the worst interview experiences I have ever had. And for the privilege of all this, I get to pay the "discounted" parking rate of $10 for my pleasure! So no surprise I never hear back at all on this job. But I figured as much.
