I applied through university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Shopee (Singapore) in Oct 2020
Interview
2 rounds of interview as I was interviewing for an internship position. First is a Phone Screening Call from HR which lasted for 10 minutes. She was late to call but only by about 10~15 minutes? Asked basic questions (e.g. Why Shopee, what's your expectations of your next position etc.) which you can easily prepare beforehand using qns from this site (that's what I did). But HR did mention that people that can work longer have more leverage as they can take on more projects.
Second round is a zoom interview with 2 line managers (both PRC i believe) but they looked neutral (i.e. not super aggressive nor super friendly). Mostly they will just based off on what you mention during the interview and your resume and continue asking question from there. Ended earlier (20+ minutes) than the supposed 30 minutes.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Shopee (Singapore) in Apr 2022
Interview
The first round is an HR video interview about 30 minutes , will be followed by a 30-minute Excel test and a case study.
Mostly resume-based questions and It focused on the details of my last internship.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself.
How did you hear about this position?
General screening interview with recruiter online that lasted for around 20 minutes. Was asked general behavioral questions and about my previous experiences. The recruiter was very friendly and open to answering any questions I had
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Shopee (Kuala Lumpur) in Oct 2021
Interview
First round was a case study group interview with roughly 6 to 7 candidates and we need to present afterwards. Indeed challenging and the overall experience is enriching.
The second was with the hiring manager. Neutral experience as the hiring manager did not show any interest to the candidate during the whole interview, the whole interview is more like me trying to appeal and catch her attention instead of mutual conversation and it seems like she was in a rush, only briefly explain what the team responsible in and that's it, whole session was only around 15 minutes.
