      Customer Success Manager Interview

      24 July 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Sievo

      Interview

I appreciate the opportunity to interview, but the overall process felt somewhat disorganized. During the conversation, the hiring manager came across as distracted or disengaged, which made it difficult to get a clear sense of the role and team dynamic.

      Application

      Interview

The interview process felt uncomfortable because of the interviewer’s communication style. One of the interviewers spoke in a pushy and dismissive manner and did not create a respectful or welcoming atmosphere for discussion. I was prepared and enthusiastic about the role, but the tone of the conversation felt confrontational. I believe interviews work best when candidates are treated with basic respect. I hope the company considers providing interviewer with guidance on professional and respectful communication.

      Customer Success Manager Interview

      29 Apr 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Sievo in Apr 2024

      Interview

1st step was a quite standard interview with the team lead and HR. 2nd step was an assignment, and the 3rd was an interview with a C-level person. The process from sending the application until the final decision took nearly six weeks. People were very friendly and accommodating, questions were relevant, and I found the technical test interesting. For the sake of transparency, I was already let to understand that the hiring decision is only a matter of casual chat with the other team members, therefore I declined a job offer from another company and shared this information with Sievo. However, they decided to step back due to my physical location, based on an intuition of my abilities to be flexible and travel as need be. I obviously feel let down but knowing that work doesn't love you back it's a minimal setback and perhaps better this way in the long run. Still, I appreciated the honesty of the hiring manager on what the decision was based on, although I have a hard time understanding it. Also, I think it is good to know that if you are not located where the offices are, the cost for travelling and staying there are on the employee (also something I wish I had known earlier, didn't think to ask this as I thought it's a standard the workplace covers this). Again, I wish to emphasize the people I had discussions with are also people, and the possible shortcomings are humane, and I hold zero grudges. But more honesty and straightforwardness from the beginning, the better - to save everyone's time.
