Had an initial call with the recruiter. It went well and I was told they'd contact be in a week's time. After two weeks of radio silence, I sent the recruiter a follow-up email, only to end up receiving your run-of-the-mill rejection response. I also applied for a different role the recruiter had mentioned, and two hours later, I also received the same response. Lack of transparency and dishonest recruiters. Glad that I didn't land the job.
