The initial phone screen went well, invited onsite for the following week. However, the onsite interview wasn’t organized, as there were multiple candidates waiting to be seen at the same time. Travis Patterson answered his cell phone while speaking with me, and stepped out of the room for 10 minutes, which I found surprising. He then asked me what my current salary was, and when I told him he asked, “How can you afford to live on that?” I laid out my expectations and received an offer the next day for the same amount. I explained that this would be a less than lateral move and I wouldn’t accept those conditions.
