I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Simon-Kucher (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2016
Interview
I was contacted by the recruiter in the East Coast for a screen interview. She didn't know very well the position (Med Tech team) and couldn't answer my questions regarding the position but did ask me about my salary expectations (they pay below the average in the SF Bay Area).
I had a phone interview with a consultant in the MedTech team and went through a case. The case was very generic and not very exciting. If the consulting work they get are similar (the interviewer said this case was something he has been working on for months) then I can see how this job could get pretty boring.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Pricing, market size estimation. Most of the data were given and had to ask for few details. Not very complicated or exciting.
starts off with behaviorals, really testing if you want to do consulting, then life sciences case, pretty difficult but still manageable. should be practicing casing + behaviorals to do well
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Simon-Kucher (London, England) in Sept 2025
Interview
first round was a online math test game SHL type tests, which wasn't too hard, second round was a HR interview with someone who didn't say much and very short, asked quite generic questions.
I interviewed at Simon-Kucher (New York Mills, NY)
Interview
interview was very good the interviewer was including and asked a case. The case was very doable and guidance provided. The behavioral were simple and the case is important. Try to always have strategic thinking.
