I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SimplePart (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2018
Interview
I had one phone interview with the CEO discussing my qualifications and company background, then an on-site interview with 7 other people covering basic interview questions that ended up being a great conversation. Despite being a culture fit and having met the requirements necessary for the role, I wasn't given an offer. A few weeks later, when their needs have changed, they were ready to give one, and I accepted.

Interview
Over the course of my 6 years of Web Development experience, I have never encountered such a miserable interview. I have interviewed with all sorts of companies, big and small and SimplePart takes the cake. Setting up the interview was a smooth process, I was told it would be a phone-in interview with three SimplePart employees, which is fine by me. I phone into the interview, and two employees are running late, no big deal. I chat with the one employee who is on the phone. After about five minutes, the other two join in, not speaking or even introducing themselves. I was asked three questions, that's it. They then opened the floor for me to ask questions. I asked about a specific part of the job as labeled in the job description to which I applied for. I was told by one of the quiet employees who never said a word up until this point I was wrong about the application, that's all she said the entire interview "YOU ARE WRONG". At that point, I wrapped up the interview as I had zero interest in working for such a lackluster company, which cant properly interview.
Very relaxed group interview with the CEO and other members of the team. It was a friendly and casual meeting and felt very much like a conversation rather than an interview. There were a few coding questions asked and the team time to ask questions about my personality, experience, and hobbies. It was probably one of the more comfortable interviews I have had.
