Had a phone interview with HR, then later that week came in to meet with someone who wasn’t the discussion maker; just a decision influencer. She said they would get back to me either way by the next week. I hear nothing, crickets for a week and a half. It’s only after I follow up that they tell me they’re going with someone else. Tell me why would you tell me you’re gonna follow up with me either way if all you’re planning on doing is ghosting me?
