Let me preface this review by saying this happened with their Pittsburgh station. Not entirely sure if this would happen at another station, but still felt important to say.
I applied for the Marketing Associate position in early May. A few days after I applied, I got a call asking if I wanted to come in to interview. The earliest date offered was a week later, so I accepted and scheduled it for 2 PM. When the interview comes around, I am greeted by one of the managers. He said it would just be him since one manager was out of town and the other one had to go to a business event but was hopeful to be back for my interview. Unfortunately, said manager at the business event was also the one who primarily asked the technical/skilled questions. He also did not make it back in time for my interview, and I believe he finally arrived right as I was pulling out of the parking lot after the interview ended. The one I was meeting with said he prefers asking questions about my personality and making sure I fit in with the team. Regardless, I talked with the manager there and met another marketing associate. It seemed to go well in my opinion, considering I was told during that conversation my resume was one of TWO that stood out. The manager said he wanted me to meet the other manager who could not make it, and we would talk soon to schedule it.
I wait a few days, but hear nothing. I called back the next week to check in, but had no luck. I was only given a phone number to contact with questions or concerns and it disconnected me before I could leave a message. Two and a half weeks after my interview, I got the standard automated "thanks for applying, but we're moving forward with other candidates" email at 9:30 AM on a Saturday.
Again, not saying this would happen at every station. However, this experience left such a bad impression that I don't want to test my luck with another one.
