interview with 2 pilots during preliminary interview in SIA training centre. asked to wait until pilots called you in. asked behavioural questions as well as several aviation questions. total lasted approximately 20-30 minutes

1. Can you introduce yourself. Blanket question where you can mention anything, such as your education, job experiences, as well as your hobbies.
2. Tell me about SIA fleet
3. what is your favourite aircraft and can you tell me more about it
You need to clearly demonstrate a strong understanding of your motivation for pursuing a career as a pilot, and be prepared to confidently answer both technical and basic mathematical questions. Most importantly, you must convince the interviewer that you are a worthwhile to justify the company spending $150,000 on your training and development.

Prelim Interview.
Process is pretty straightforward: they'll check and verify all your information in your application with the documents you've brought.
After that you just wait to be called by your interviewer. There will be 2 people interviewing you - mine was a Head/Management Pilot and someone from HR. They will be very poker-faced throughout the session. It will be quick. Once you're done, you just leave the facility and hope you're called up for the Final Interview
