I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Singapore Airlines (Kuala Lumpur) in Mar 2018
Interview
it takes a lot of time because a lot of people went for it. interviewer is friendly and nice but you just can't figured out what kind of candidates they want.
The walk-in interview 6 rounds, height and weight, self intro, debate, small group interview, individual interview, kebaya fitting. They eliminated people in each round. Outspoken people were mostly eliminated. Calm and confidence I think, but not sure of the criteria.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Singapore Airlines (Singapore) in Apr 2026
Interview
In order:
Height test
Debate round
Management interview
Grooming check
Throughout the process, the staff managing the crowd was rude and raised voice to ask the crowd to quieten down.
The interview process doesn’t represent of what candidates potential are, easily small things out of candidates control can cause candidates to not be selected.
The process was relatively smooth. The selection process is as what everyone mentioned, in stages. For me, it started with a self introduction and ended with a kebaya walk. There was also a stage of one to one interview with the management (somewhere nearing the end).
